   How the Gift Registry Works

Create a New Gift Registry

1) Log in if you are already a registered user. If not, please open up an account to create a new registry.

2) Open up new registry. Click "Add New" found at the "Gift Registry" Menu-Box located at the left-hand side of galtbaby.com. Fill in all required fields. Choose "Public" to be viewed by all. Choose "Private" if you want only guests to view your selection. Make sure your registry name is easy for guests to recognize.

3) Invite guests. To add emails you would like to send notifications to, click the "+" icon. To remove, click the "-" icon.

4) Guestbook option. "Enable" Guestbook to allow you and guests to post messages.

5) Create Registry. Click "Add New" when you've completed this page. Copy and paste the code and save it by sending it to your email. This way, you’ll have access to your registry later. If you need to edit your registry, log in and click "Search" in the "Gift Registry" Menu-Box.

6) Add items to your wish list. Once added, there will be three tabs: "Products," "Notifications," and "Guestbook." Search and add your desired products under the "Products" tab.

  7) Send notifications. Click on the "Notifications" tab. Select the emails you'd like to send, and click "Send notification to selected." Your guests will receive a notice of your registry. They are now able to view your registry and choose from your selection.

  8) Purchase notice. When a guest makes a purchase from your selection, you will receive a notice.

You’re finished! If you have questions or need further assistance, please contact us at registry@galtbaby.com.  We will try to ensure a prompt service and respond within 12 hours (usually much less).

How to Find a Gift Registry

Simply go to the "Search" in the "Gift Registry" Menu-Box located at left-hand column of galtbaby.com. Enter their first or last name. If the registry is enabled for public viewing, the registry should be among those listed in the search area. If not, contact your party to gain access to the private event. They will need your email to send you a notification and access rights.
